Why this website is for you!

This site contains everything you need to know on how to get your baby to sleep in a crib!

There was one person and one person only our baby son allowed to try to put him to sleep in his crib... his mother (of course!). While she enjoyed the bonding over a lengthy time, it was taking her up to one and a half hours to put him to sleep in his crib every night. I could not even attempt to get him to sleep, he would just scream and scream, no matter what I tried. Of course this totally ruled out the possibility of getting a babysitter in order to go out for an evening, because even if he was asleep before we went out, if he woke up with a babysitter there was no way on earth he would go back to sleep in his crib for someone else. Clearly this couldn't go on! My wife and I discussed sleep training and both agreed that we needed to do something. So I undertook to do some research, reading books, reading online content and speaking with friends on how to get a baby to sleep in a crib, with the goal of being able to fall asleep by himself, be able to be put down to sleep in the crib by anyone (not just his mother!) and to be able to quickly fall back to sleep in his crib if he woke during the night.
